GenerationYM has worked with Scannx since inception in 2011. From 2011, we've been involved in Scannx Book Scancenter branding and marketing. Branding wise, we've built their website, created promotional Materials like brochures, data sheets, and designed social media templates. Marketing wise, we have managed email campaigns and also assisted in trade-show materials and provided brand ambassador services.
The most effective marketing strategy for scannx at the moment (since they are a startup) is to display machines and generate leads at library conferences and follow up with emails that drive the pre-qualified leads to an opt-in form. Every year, thousands of librarians attend conferences, seeking out new technology to provide their patrons and staff. Scannx has a booth at most of these conferences, where they set up a banner, provide information, and have at least 4 machines on display to demo to Librarians. We have developed promotional materials for these trade shows, assisted in booth layout and provided brand ambassador services as well. Our team, typically of 4 will attend the show, generate a buzz at and around the booth, demo the machine and film live testimonials from customers and people who just saw the demo for the first time. We have been able to double lead activity by assisting in brand ambassador services alone. We typically acquire around 500 prospects within a two day period.
